When your Ebennies changes to "Review of Evidence" and you'll see a claim that is opened, then closed, that's when they've sent your proposed ratings. Until then it may bounce between stages, mine changed at least 3 times, then when I got my proposed ratings, it went back to "Review of Evidence" where it will sit until I send my DD214 and officially separate. Then it'll go through the phases (it may skip some) until it shows complete. I had a Soldier get out in December, right around 30 days they completed his claim and sent his final award letter, at that point it should be accessible under your "VA Letters"
Today my claim moved to "Gathering of Evidence" and requested separation documents. I called my PEBLO and she told me over the phone "unofficially" 40% DoD 90% VA
I am kind of in the same boat. Only difference is I don't get a preliminary rating, I have to wait for the actual rating. I have been in Prep for decision for several weeks.
Current Time Line:
National Guard Soldier 20+ Years With 80% VA Rating - PHA
Triggers 3 P-3 Profiles and Initiates MEB Process
3 Nov 2014 - Initial Contact with PEBLO
4 Nov 2014 - VA Claim Initiated
10 Nov 2014 - E-Benefits Shows Pending Decision Approval
8 Dec 2014 - C&P Exams
9 Jan 2015 - MEB NARSUM Accepted and Signed
15 Jan 2015 - Found Unfit 2 Conditions Request for rating sent to VA - Current Combined Rating for the Unfit conditions 50%.
19 Feb 2015 - E-benefits Changes to Preparation for decision
So, I got my TRANSPROC yesterday, talked with transitions today, will have my orders Monday, I start clearing Monday, start terminal leave w/PTDY 28 March, last day on active duty is 6 June!! Good luck everyone!
Awesome news lakerimff! My status changed 12MAR to "Gathering Evidence" requesting seperation docs. I talked to my PEBLO but won't know ratings until PEB is done... Which I was told could take a day or could take 2 weeks...
It's great that all of you are getting some results, for me it seems the VA is an information black hole.... My 500 pages of medical records went into the black hole in Nov 14 and virtually no information has come out of the black hole since... I've been sitting at preparation for decision for three weeks now and while my PEBLO states I should have ratings in hand any day now, the VA tells me that cases going through Seattle dras are taking on average 6 months...
tony292, I see your date you received the Preliminary findings was Feb 10, I received mine Jan 12th, and got my ratings back on 6 march, so if the timeline doesn't change, you should see proposed ratings around the beginning of April. Good luck.
lakerimff, when you say you received TRANSPROC what do you mean? They called you? or how does that work? I signed my 199 yesterday and want to know what to exptect.

Transproc is where they receive the official separation from SoA, they should contact you to get your leave dates.
So for me: I signed my DA199 Friday 6 March, my PEBLO said my TRANSPROC should come in the next week, I waited and waited, I called my PEBLO Friday 13th, she said that they had received my TRANSPROC Thursday 12th, so I called the retirement/separations POC my PEBLO gave me about 1100 that morning, she confirmed my Separation date as NLT 10 June 2015 (90 Days from date of TRANSPROC), then asked with my leave when I wanted to be out, so, I have 61 days of leave through June, and requested 10 days PTDY (I got less than 30% DoD), with that calculation and 10 days to clear I started clearing this Monday March 16 (I received my Orders at 1300, it's based on their work load, chapters get processed first then medical). Hope this helps, my last day on active duty is 6 June 2015.
After reading the above, either I should be happy or pissed! My ebenefits moved from pending decision approval to gathering of evidence again, but with 2 request 1 for separation documents 2. Inital review completed. What to think?

Hello everyone I am in the middle of my MEB and the main question I have is this: Once everything is said and done how many days will there be from that date I find out my NLT Separation Date? Is it a standard 90 days, 60 days???? BLUFF: Trying to figure out how many leave days if any I will need to burn before I get this info, in case they say I have to be out in say 60 days and have to sell leave days back and don’t get to use PTDY either. Thanks!
Where exactly do I look to find the status on the VA ratings when I'm on e-benefits? Am I looking in the right spot, because if I am, I know my packet was received by VA for ratings on 12 May but the claims only reflect the initial submission of my claims by the VA MSC. Help?
I am afraid you will only see changes when they are made. You will go from Review of Evidence which is what you are in now, to either gathering evidence if they don't have enough info or to Pending Decision Approval. Unfortunately E-Bennies is not the most accurate system. My claim was submitted a day after my C&P exams, then a new case was opened when my PEBLO sent the request for ratings those both sat at prep for decision for months, the rating request claim didn't show up till a month after he sent them in. Finally they both closed and a new claim opened, that was the actual claim being rated. There don't seem to be anything logical about it.
Just hang in there. If your request for ratings went in on 12 May you will probably be waiting at least a month or 2, I waited 97 Days from request for ratings to decision.
My eBenefits now states "Preparing for Decision," and yesterday it stated "Review of Evidence." I'm ready for this process to be done with! Hopefully mine will go as quickly as some of yours did. I'm looking at your timelines and your PEB Findings have gone through within days. Some other people I've spoken with have said their PEB Findings have been pending for 60+ days; I hope I don't turn out to be one of those unfortunate cases. The sooner I have an answer and a NLT date, the better!
