Yeah, its frustrating. You just have to keep up with your PEBLO and your MSC.
 
I am currently going thru a PEB. I am Active Navy in LA. One of my PEB conditions is Chrons Disease. I have had it for over 3 years. What % did they give you for just that issue. PEB sumbitted for 3 severe issues, and VA for over 20 issues, so I am trying to get an idea. Congrats and good luck. R u getting severance?

I got 10 percent for chrons. Its wrong since mine was severe, but i just signed the 199 and I will get it fixed after I get out. I have other issues with my back that got me 40 percent and a retirement out of the Army, so thats why I didnt fight it.
 
I know you havent had the disease long, but they should have given you more. I have never heard of anything less than 30% and I have researched 100s of cases, but atleast you got a good rating for your back and the retirement, thats all that counts. Now you and your family can focus on your future.

Was diagnosed in 2010 and just had surgery in Feb of this year. Im doing great and already put on the 50 or so pounds I lost because of it.
 
Good, glad you are doing better. I sure know about being skinny, my wife says I am a tooth pick, I tell her could be worse right. Take care.
 
I just heard from MEB at Walter Reed. The MEB Doctor has approved my profile and refered me to MEB. I meet with my Peblo Thursday morning at 0900. SHe wants a bunch of things including my original physical from MEPS. I hope I still have that.

Should be one of the last pages on your original enlistment contract. If you dont have it go to ako and on the right side and go to ompf

09 AUG 2012 - VA Mailed Proposed Ratings
30 AUG 2012 - PEB Convened (Found Unfit 40% DoD and 60% VA Permanent Retired List)
04 SEP 2012 - Signed DA 199
15 OCT 2012 - Retirement orders recieved
03 NOV 2012 - Start PTDY/Transition Leave
 
UPDATE

6 September: Met PEBLO and had initial briefing
11 October: VA C&P Appointments Begin
1 November: Last C&P Appointment
20 November: NARSUM Back
26 November: IMR Requested
