Currently in Army MEB and received my ratings of 20% DoD and 100% VA. I want to submit a VARR but also dont want to be here any longer. I have a job lined up. How long typically do VARR take? My attonrey said the VA accoording to some DoD Directive that the VA has 2-3 weeks to respond. I've read thorugh some posts on here where people are waiting months but that was also 4-6 years ago. Anyone familiar or maybe even advice. TIA

About 4-6 weeks. Its very much worth it! If your rating goes up and that gets you to 30% you get medically retired and tricare for life for you and your family. Tricare is worth a ton of money!!!

Did you ever submit a VARR? If so, how long did it take to receive your results back?
