when I check VA.gov it has estimated date of NOV 19, but my PEBLO says that they don't take into account that i'm on a medboard so the website is incorrect. Anyone have any insight on this? The VA when I call them have absolutely no idea what i'm talking about.

That dates on VA.gov are only estimates based on historical data/trends and are pretty useless. They projected my claim to close Feb of 2020, and it closed 29 Apr. The duration of each claim will vary depending on numerous factors such as complexity, changes to claimed conditions, requests for additional information on a claim, delays, etc.

Did it still update you on the site if something had changed? Like if it moves from evidence and decision to something else? Or should I just not look at the site??

kleeris,
eBenefits was not designed for the MED Board process. You should get all your information from the PEBLO which is normally a contractor and represents the process. The PEBLO is not your representative yet will help you navigate the process. PEBLOS work for the government or a contract house. I was very fortunate to have a great PEBLO. Best regards, Ron P

The status will update, but the date won't really update to anything useful, mine flip flopped between Oct 2019 to Feb 2020. The most useful source of information will be your PEBLO, who hopefully, is responsive to emails or calls.

I hate to sound stupid. But what is a PEBLO?
PEB Liaison Officer. Basically they are your case manager and should be keeping you informed on the status of your MEB.

Thank you! Is this Active Duty Forum only?
Not an active duty forum. I have used this forum and the information was helpful. I have seen many post from National Guard, Reserves, and of course active duty. In the end, whether reserve, guard or active duty, we all are processed using the same policy and procedures. Best regards, Ron P
