My ets was March 26 . When should i recieve va pay ? And if i don’t recieve va pay will my retirement pay kick in in May ?
 
Assuming your DD-214 was received before March 31, you should get paid on May 1.

Your retirement will continue to be paid until VA overtakes it (unless DoD were to be higher).

I haven’t received any retirement pay . I was trying to see if i would recieve retirement May 1st if va didn’t kick in , and my dd214 was submitted March 27
 
Yes, you will receive DoD retirement pay as long as you are not receiving / until you start receiving VA.
