I called the VA regional office today after noticing that my eBenefits changed to Pending Decision Approval and he said there is a proposed rating but won't tell me what it is. Should I keep calling or call my VA rep here on base?
If it says "Pending Decision Approval" that usually means that it's still waiting to be officially approved over at the VA. Once they are complete with the rating it typically changes back to "Gathering Evidence" and also says "requested separation documents" meaning your DD214. Call your PEBLO because he/she also has access to the VA system and CAN (but isn't required to) tell you your preliminary rating. I have heard of some PEBLO's choosing to not disclose that information until it is drafted on the DA 199 by the PEB, as "it can change." Hope this helps.
Yeah mine doesn't seem to want to tell me, I'm on Pending Decision Approval too. About how long after it moves to that should people hear something back?
