VA FINAL RATINGS

I was told until my proposed ratings are finalized every time I have an Va appt ill get a copay bill in the mail

As I said, if you are an OIF/OEF vet (which I assume you are) You get FREE medical care for five years. The quote below is cut right from the VA website.

"5 Years of Cost Free Health Care — OEF/OIF combat Veterans can receive cost free medical care for any condition related to their service in the Iraq/Afghanistan theater for five years after the date of their discharge or release"

http://www.oefoif.va.gov/

From here you can do what you want.

Yes ranger I understand what your saying, I'm just simply stating what was told to me by the coordinator after my first VA appt, And I actually got the VA copay bill in the mail today, it came out to 15 dollars

Your Group I rating has nothing to do with ratings formal or otherwise... Your group I rating has to do with you having served in theater and their are NO CO PAYS or MEANS TESTS required... Go Back and see your coordinator, sometimes the contract labor (Contractor running the clinic) doesn't get it. Sometimes you are signed up wrong when you first came in.

Sorry... Enrolled wrong during your first visit...

Yah got co pay bills for meds to, thought it was kinda strange, same situation as the other guy. On another topic, which was the original for this thread, my initial claim out of Seattle closed yesterday dated 25DEC12 start, and of course another opened, went strait to "prep for decision" phase with a comp date between late June/July. Good news I guess finally, on the new claim only 4 claims were listed out of the 15 on the original claim. Have to go back through the site late to research why that is, I have seen the reasoning before on here before I panic or whatever thinking my 100% is getting bumped to 50% of some shit lol. Hope this info helps those who. Retired medically around the same time frame, seems most of us have waited longer than the norm for the medical retirement process for that time frame. Yes before somebody quotes me with a sarcastic response, it is still faster than most, and I do considered myself fortunate.

ebenefits is all messed up now. I submitted an inquiry with VA rep over the phone twice, been 4 weeks now for Seattle office to give an answer on the case. I checked Ebenefits the next day i put the inquiry and all my uploaded documents disappeared. I called Ebenefits and they said t defense management center. I retired medically 21 March.
