VA disability rating

Hello,

I have over 20 years of service. When I get MEBed and if my ratings are 100% can the VA bring me in for a C&P and lower my ratings? What kind disabilities does the DoD use for my MEB rating?

Both are the same DoD is a little different over what will be considered unfitting and thus rated, VA will rate pretty much anything you been diagnosed with from 0-100% depending on the severity. Yes you can be called back in for a re exam if you are not P&T.

Do they both rate you for pain?

Yes but that is rare pain will only be rated if their is no official diagnosis otherwise it's a symptom that's rated in combination other symptoms for a certain injury or condition.
