I'm not sure if this post should go here but I need some feedback on some pay info that just hit me.
I'm a PO2 that was placed on TDRL in 2020. VA rated at 90%. I was in for 7 years. I have been receiving my VA pay every month since discharge in June of 2020 but I also remember getting paid monthly from DFAS for several months after I was medically "retired". That stopped around January 2021 and honestly I don't recall what it was for. Am I supposed to be receiving some sort of retired pay from DFAS/DoD while awaiting my TDRL final eval (which is in a few days)?
Any info on this would be great because if the pay stopped for some reason and I am able to file for back-pay, I need to know what to do (if that is even possible).
If this was not retired pay, should I reach out to someone and find out specifically what it was for?
