Hey everyone, I was referred DEC 7th, to the AMRO on base. A PEBLO told me there was a case review the 14th and got my name and number, but I still have no idea if they discussed my case. Anyone have ANY insight to the MacDill AMRO board or MEB process? I'm trying to do skillbridge, but need a unfit finding from the board and my code 37 before I am willing to jump the gun and do TAP.

7 DEC 22 - PCM referred me to AMRO for review

Just FYI, you can't do Skillbridge while pending an MEB. In order to apply for Skillbridge, the education office is going to ask for your DOS, but once you are coded 37 you will no longer have an official DOS. You should do TAP ASAP however, because if you have it completed before it is time for your MEB to be over and for you to separate it will already be taken care of.

Just got notified that they "reviewed" my case and are kicking it down the road. They only meet once a month. So now I have to continue looking like malingering shit bag at my unit since I'm never there. Perfect.

I am also at MacDill, I just signed for my DBQs and my PEBLO should have sent my stuff to AFPC last week. I also miss a work a lot but hey they know that I am going through a med board and trying to set up myself up for success. There’s nothing to feel bad about.

Agreed. Work will always be there but it’s time for you to focus on your med board, setting yourself up for when it is time to get out, and take care of your health.

To few members set themselves up well, while they have the opportunity.

That’s very true, it’s just up until this I was a “hard charger” and now I’m like a fish that can’t swim. What was your timeline if you don’t mind me asking?

True I just don’t want to go to TAP and start applying to places and making resumes and then find out they pushed my internal review for a millionth time lol

Had to get the patient advocate involved and threaten a congressional, but I finally ot them to stop deferring the AMRO, do an out of cycle review and assign my code 37, waiting to hear back for my instruction.

I'm 2 weeks ahead of you. I was coded 37 on 26 Jan. I am now waiting for my narsum to be completed and my commander statement.

My PEBLO told me she sent the NARSUM to AFPC today and put a "hot order" on it so the turnaround should be 2 days. So I"m hoping to hear back tomorrow or the next day for unfit status to proceed.

Everyone that I know on my base that is going through MEB has told me to call/email the PEBLO atleast every 2 weeks. Sometimes they have an update but wont email you. patient advocate can also help.

I called my local congressmen and got "Congressional Interest" on my case it's just been sitting for 221 days on some dudes desk at the VA... I also called VERA and they told me my case is getting shipped out today

This is not true. While you most likely will not be able to do the full 180 days, you can still do Skillbridge. Source: I had my Skillbridge briefing today and currently in the IDES process.

UPDATE:
23 FEB 23 - sent to AFPC with CIS this time
24 FEB 23 - Came back unfit
28 FEB 23 - Alerted by PEBLO that its unfit
1 MAR 23 - IDES Brief
1 MAR 23 - MSC Brief, 526EZ Disability claims filled out, uploaded to DODSAFE awaiting exam scheduling

UPDATE:
3 MAR 23 - Scheduled QTC Exams
8-13 MAR 23 - QTC Exams
(let's pray this goes by quick, the DBQs are proper, and that the NARSUM is completed asap)

Did you get an ETP signed by your commander for the skillbridge?
