Okay, so here is my timeline from notification to receiving orders. It's a long process, but like a lot of people have said on here, ALWAYS KNOW WHERE YOUR PACKAGE IS. Be proactive in getting information on your case. That alone probably cost me about 2 months...
22 Aug 11 - Met with PEBLO / Initiate MEB
01 Sep thru 20 Oct 11 - C&P Exams
15 Dec 11 - NARSUM sent to MEB
05 Jan 12 - Commander's letter sent to MEB
20 Jan 12 - MEB found Unfit...referred to IPEB
24 Jan 12 - IPEB received MEB package
05 Jun 12 - VA Proposed ratings sent to AFPC
07 Jun 12 - TOLD that AFPC received proposed ratings
06 Jul 12 - Checked in with PEBLO...said I should hear something in a week. Also verified that AFPC had all required VA documentation. Was told I was good to go
13 Jul 12 - Checked in with PEBLO...said I should hear something in a week. Also verified that AFPC had all required VA documentation. Was told I was good to go
20 Jul 12 - Checked in with PEBLO...said I should give it two more weeks. Also verified that AFPC had all required VA documentation. Was told I was good to go. Ordered by CC to stop calling my PEBLO for updates.
08 Aug 12 - Called AFPC. Was told that my case was being reviewed and would close out no later than 17 August.
14 Aug 12 - Called PEBLO for update. No new information, and seemed irritated to hear from me. Contacted patient advocate, and explained to him my entire MEB expierence. He replied by letting me know that AFPC had indeed been missing VA information on my case and ACTUALLY received my required documentation yesterday (13 August). Was told that my case would be done no later than 21 August
20 Aug 12 - Called case manager at AFPC. Was reassured that my case would be done by 21 August
21 Aug 12 - Findings received!!! TDRL with 50% DoD and 70% VA. Signed paperwork and am on track to retire on 27 October! Asked that my orders be expedited....keeping fingers crossed....
27 Aug 12 - Called to get a status update on orders and was told they would be cut on 06 September
06 Sep 12 - Received orders at 1130 Hawaii time. Separation date 26 October w/ PTDY 25 September thru 25 October. YAAAAYYYYY!!!
