Notification of MEB Action - 6 Mar 2012
Physical Exam Completed: 29 Mar 2012
MEB sent to JBLM: 6 Apr 2012
NARSUM Completed: 20 Jun 2012
MEB Doesn't Meet Retention Standards: 27 Jun 2012
NARSUM Signed: 3 Jul 2012
MEB sent to PEB (JBLM): 3 Jul 2012
Found Unfit: 27 Jul 2012
VA received PEB: 31 Jul 2012
eBenefits indicates "Preparing for Decision": 2 Aug 2012
eBenefits indicates "Pending Decision Approval": 3 Aug 2012
Ratings Done: 3 Aug 2012
DA 199 in Typing Phase: 10 Aug 2012
DA 199 is In: 10 Sept 2012
DA 199 signed: 12 Sept 2012
DA 199 sent up: 13 Sept 2012
Transition Memo Received: 23 Oct 2012
Orders/Clearing Papers in Hand: 24 Oct 2012
Start PTDY/Terminal Leave: 05 Nov 2012

I recieved my orders fairly quickly because I already completed my terminal leave ahead of time and my leave dates were within the transition timeframe.
 
Wow, yours, SGT Bob, and my MEB all started within weeks of each other through Ft. Bliss. Glad to see your nearly out though, congrats and good luck! I wish I had an end in sight.

What I find incredibly sad is that it took 30 friggen days for the typing stage...SERIOUSLY???
 
So I got an appointment for the Behavioral Health Assessment Cinic for tomorrow and was told that I would find out then if i was being MEB boarded. Is that the appointment I needed from the MEB office to jump start the process before I can go to the briefing?

Your MEB will start once your P3 profile is issued and approved.
 
Please remember that anyone in the MEB process has the right to seek advice and counsel from the Soldiers' MEB Counsel. You can reach the Fort Bliss office to schedule an appointment by calling (915) 742-3374 / 3874. Don't delay. Having your questions and concerns addressed is paramount to success in any process. It's your right to sit down face to face and talk to YOUR ATTORNEY about YOUR MEB.
