it sucks that if you take care of yourself you are screwed, if you let the glucose run wild then you end up in the hospital then you are medically retired! guys stick to your story about how diabetes affects everything in your life. Make the case yourself, no one knows you better than yourself. If sex makes the blood sugars drop tell them to put that into your medical record. Believe me, it is better to win the first time and to not to have to go through a formal board hearing. Find another Doc that will do the job they are getting paid to do, it is your right if they are not doing their job! I was given 40% with PDRL after a formal board hearing thanks to Mike's help and knowledge. No Type 1 should take anything less than 40%, in my opinion.
