I am currently on AGR status as a National Guard recruiter. I have been in the board process since June in regards to Type 1 diabetes and mild sleep apnea with use of a cpap machine. My only real limitations on my permanent profile are no running and diet restrictions. I am seeking advice from someone who has knowledgeable experience with these symptoms through the board process. I am wondering if there is a chance to be found fit for duty or should I expect to be medically retired with a percentage rating. I am currently waiting on the NARSUM dictation of the board process. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The NARSUM and medical findings will dictate the finding.

I was medically, pdrl, with type 1 diabetes with 40%. if you have insulin dependence, restricted diet, and regulation of strenuous activity then the VASRD says you are 40%.
