A few weeks ago I received my ratings for DoD and VA. I asked my PEBLO about a grace period for insurance and he was not sure.
I have TRS through the Reserves as it is a heck of a lot cheaper than paying it through my husband's work (he is a government civilian).
Does anyone know if there is a grace period after you are released due to medical reasons? I do know that you get six months after leaving active duty, but am not sure for Reserves. Six months? Three months?
Any help would be appreciated.
