The option is there, But with 18 Good Guard years and 15 of those active I have a lot to lose if I reject a med hold, but also the spectre of possibly being ordered to return to my ANG unit Hangs over my head daily... Pretty Bad when I have PTSD from an office job in garrison... Very Long story... The one thing in the ANG you do not have recourse, because the offenders, are buddies with the right people in the unit and state to squash issues....
How do you know when case is in QA status call PEBLO or can you track on a website ?If you enter into Pending VA you were found unfit. You wont know until after it leave the QA status. Generally no more than 15 calendar days in that status (SECNAV).

PEBLO or your Lawyer should be able to see it. I had better luck personally getting my lawyer on the phone so thats who I skewed towards calling.
@Rdavis04 how were u able to call them? Where did u get the phone number? Are we allowed to do that? Only asking because I want to do that too!@tjveres how did you find out you were unfit? I called the PEB today and they said that the medical officers have looked at it and it is in final QA. Anyone have any insight if I’m unfit or fit?
Peb accepted my case Jan 6.
So it does go to QA for both unfit and fit? My lawyer said it inky goes to QA if you’re unfit.
So this totally depends on the type of QA. VA QA means that youve been found unfit reviewed by the VA and those findings are beind analyzed I believe. However, if you are just told QA then that can mean you were found fit by PEB and the quality assurance people are just reviewing that finding. I was in QA for over two weeks on my third IPEB and I had been found fit. Hopefully you get the finding you are looking for! If at any point you are told it is with or back from the VA I believe that means you have been found unfit by the PEB

I have heard and been told that once your case closes on va.gov 10 days after you can call the RI VA or the 1-800 number and they will fax your ratings to you.

Just my proposed VA ratings, not DoD. She can look them up on her side of the system due to the process of VR&E being dependent on making sure a career won’t disturb your disabilities. More or less yes. Once you sign your findings, your PEBLO will send it back to the PEB. They say it takes about 3-4 weeks for the PEB to send it to MMSR-4 to calculate your EAS date. I listed my timeline below. I called MMSR-4 after 5 days & they received my package the same day. I should have my EAS soon.
