You posted that you were referred in march, you mean referred to a medical board? You had your preliminary VA ratings done in april, once your exams come back your peblo calls you in and you look over the package you first saw when you initially met with your peblo which should have a bit more info like a personal statement if you submitted one, your exam info for the referred condition, and you sign some forms and then they send it to the peb and you get a notification on MOL. Are you sure about your timeline.March 2021
Waiting for my March case here . The wait sucksAnd here I am waiting for July cases
Would you consider your case complicated in any way? Ie: multiple unfitting conditions, fighting against medical or command recommendations?Waiting for my March case here . The wait sucks
Physical. Although I have been seeing mental health as well, it’s not my dod issues I was referred for. That's crazy, may I ask if it's mental health or just physical?
So I only have 1 DOD condition and 13 conditions claiming through the VA. My commander selected “do not retain” and I received my meb decision as “recommended for separation/retirement” on September 22 2021. I signed agreeing to the decision and was told I’d receive my ratings in a couple weeks and that this step in the process is usually quicker (last step took 10 weeks) and this is week 6 since I last met with PEBLO. how long does it usually take to get ratings after signing to agree with meb decision ?Would you consider your case complicated in any way? Oh okay, so you're a September case. The big holdup is the PEB portion of the process, specifically the Medical Officer stage. It seems crazy that your PEBLO told you the PEB would take a few weeks. Are you Navy/USMC? The PEB has been taking people 5-6 months recently. So I only have 1 DOD condition and 13 conditions claiming through the VA. Oh wow. I’m actually Air Force. Does each branch have their own Peblo or is it all grouped together? I wonder if the 5-6 months will apply but yes he told me a “couple weeks because it was sent up to AFPC and shouldn’t take long at this point”Oh okay, so you're a September case. Yeah you should ask this in the Air Force case timelines forum. This is the Navy case timelines forum. You probably won’t have to wait nearly as long as we do lolOh wow. I’m actually Air Force.
