The VA Gave me a HEARTATTACK -- Plus Timeline...

Alright, yesterday I did my monthly Peblo/DaV calls; Basically pinging them to see whats going on, any news, and nothing. Logged onto Ebennies today, actually more out of habit than hope. Sure enough, it looked different!

It took me a second to realize what had changed on the page, because i was used to looking at the same old page over and over. But they requested new documents......from my entrance exam... Today, with a suspense date of 05/16/2012. I was very happy to see the change then my heart sunk because that means more and more waiting. So i jumped on the phone with my peblo, (Who seemed VERY suprised that i knew what was going on, but he was awesome) and it got taken care off! (they had them on disc, just didnt know how to open......) The additional documents are closed and now 4/16/2013 my package has been moved to preperation for decision and someone is ACTIVELY working it!

You would think that this would be good news...and it is, but my god it is really messing with my anxiety, so I figured I would post about the scare, and actually start my timeline! I didnt start one earlier because there are a million timelines out there that are all at the same point, and I did not want to add clutter to clutter!

15Sep11 - Injury

25Apr12 - Return to Duty from Convolescent leave.
16Oct12 - Initial PEBLO Meeting
20Nov12 - MEB Start Date per Ebennies (Officially......took ALOT of fighting and "False Starts" to get going)

24Jan13 - Signed Narsum
28Jan13 - Narsum Sent to IPEB
26Feb13 - Found Unfit
MARCH - Waiting Patiently
16Apr13 - Status changed to "Preperation for Decision"

I'm still waiting on retirement orders!!! It's making me nuts....i am trying to keep my mind of it but this sucks!!
You have any idea when you will get yours cut?
 
I know i wanna frickin flip shit, I'm cool now cause I'm just at the house. Can't do shit without orders thou...."technically at work"so i can sell back 15 days or so. Call in type stuff. I need those orders to route my House Hunting/Job Hunting and schedule the rest of my terminal leave. 35 Days off and sell back 15. I'm getting super impatient thou.....
It's really testing my anxiety.....Think i should call PERS Millington or something? I've been calling local PSD like crazy but nothing.....go figure the ONE THING my chain of command touched.....ended up sitting on my PLD request.
AOIC stated....they called Millington and got me my date....ended up talking to the wrong guy of course.
What ever, i'm not suprised they screwed something up.
 
They did a EAS extension of 2 months extending me to a Soft EAOS of July 19
My EAOS was May 19 LMAO.
Can't get tag's Without 6 months on contract.... have to carry a Car pass until i get my DD214 for stickers....wtf right.
I'm gonna get my orders and JUMP THROUGH MY ASS!!!
 
Lol, best of luck to you mate; I would definatly start making a noise if you go past a month; That is retarded. I feel bad for you, so dont take this the wrong way, but I hope to god that my orders come back in a decent amount of time! I am really hoping that they will drop this week. Next week at the latest.
 
I'm thinking they cut ours on the same day.....LMAO. Same ratings...close to same conditions....same retirement date?

Report back here and let me know! On the AFFORM 1180 (Action on physical evaluation board findings and recommended disposition) form, I selected 1july13 as my retirement date.....and thats approaching pretty fast with the ptdy and what not;

Well......i called the guy that takes care of PDRL and presto....i have to go to work now and print out my message to take to PSD....WTF? Whatever....I'm off

Well i figured they were just some civilian dude/gals handling our paperwork like PSD ya know.
They were actually really nice, I did explain my situation and there you go.
I jumped on NPC and just called the number listed and followed prompts...lol
Got transferred around a bit but it worked....

About time! almost 4 weeks to receive orders! My case manager at AFPC called today to verify the date i selected and recommended moving it to the end of the month, to allow out processing, leave, and make the payments fall better. I give big blue a big thumbs up on that kind of sincerity!

I am submitting for my terminal/PTDY tommorow, I was so excited that I stayed late tongiht just to ready the paperwork; Best case scenerio i start terminal on monday. We shall see if my chain lets that fly.

Nice....Glad to hear it's all working out for you. I had to get active on mine or else i was getting screwed!!
I'm all set up as well now though.
Just for a heads up- jump all over Personal Property for your move now if you are planning a move/home of record etc. They were trying to tell me i needed to have a 4 week cushion
(busy summer months)for notice and the earliest i could pack out was 1July....i started to flip shit!! Told em i personally had to call Millington to get the message emailed to myself that PSD cut me last Friday May 31st....It got stupid but they saw i was not taking no for an answer and scheduled me 20June pack out 24June on the road.

What are your plans? School?
 
Yup, School in august, job in july, chilling before that. The move is going to be the crazy part; I might do a Partial DTY, I dont want to wait for months for all my shit...lol

I also have a motorcycle, hopefully they will take that HHG and hopefully not take any shit for my orders JUST being cut.
