I requested TERA under hardship and exceptional need earlier this year to avoid the MEB/PEB process and just get out, I got denied in April.
Now that the MEB/PEB process has been initiated I'm on a time crunch to use TERA, with waving of PEB findings, to get out by the end of the year. Due to TERA expiring for the Corps on Dec 31st, 2025.
I got an email today from the attorney telling me that they had a conversation with a colleague and that I am HIGHLY advised to have a TERA application waiving PEB findings before October 2025.
I started the C&P exams last week and have most of them knocked out. With only two remaining, one next week and the other on the 20th of August.
I have a flow chart that has timeline "goals" for the entire process:
MEB - 20 days
Informal PEB - 11 days
Purposed Ratings - 19 days
Proposed Disposition - 5 days
Formal PEB Decision and SM Approval - 24 days
I was never good at math, but I don't have to be in order to see I won't have my formal findings in order to waive them and submit for TERA by October. Since after my final exam I only have 35 days before October.
BRUH! as the kids say.

Someone give me hope so I don't go eat crayons until my SGLI gets paid out.
