Hi, I was Temp rated at 40% meaning half pay for 5 years. The VA has just come up with 4 disabilities that they will be rating me for. Non of these injuries are combat relatd but will i be able to collect both paychecks since the army never rated me on injuries that occurred during active duty? I've heard both ways. I heard you collect only whatever is highest, but that doest seem fair if i get 40% for my right shoulder to get that from the Army, and my left shoulder chronic ear problem, and bone sticking out of my foot not get any disability %. Any ideas or thoughts? i was also told that i can file social security disabiility by the new PEBLO Major. Is this accurrate? and i talked to my peblo officer about this the soldiers were saying it was a huge lump sum, any ideas on what the price was since i'm medically? and if so, when should i start applying? THanks for all your help
