Hello all! I have a few questions, and any info would be helpful. I was just recently placed on PDRL 80% from the DOD. The letter I received said 12 weeks to process everything. Does it take that long? My current medical retired ID expires at the end of September. Will i receive anything in then mail to get a new one.

You can go to mil connect on line. Look in the benefits sections and determine if you have been update. If it says
Coverage End Date:
No projected end date exists for the next 6 months.

Then you can get a new ID card in PDRL status.

Thanks! Just checked it and it says project end date October 6th 2019. Hopefully my paperwork for a new id come. If not should I just contact them about getting it extended?

I would talk to them about an extension so your medical care does not gap.

They wont extend it . Same thing happened to me . They scheduled my final appointment on the 26th and my id expired on the 27th. You have to wait 4-6 weeks for the results they told me. Then agree to the results . Then mail it back and wait for system to update, then you can get a new ID.
