TDRL Time Coming Up..

Couple of questions...

My husband was placed on TDRL September of 2008, for his left arm injury. Since on TDRL, his knee has had a much needed surgery, which the VA did. And PTSD was found and he is currently being treated for.

My question is, when he called back to be re-evaluated for TDRL, can the knee be added and PTSD? Or will just the arm be evaluated.

Thank you,

The additional diagnoses can be added at the PEB after the TDRL re-eval, but it has to be argued that the conditions were unfitting at the time he was placed on TDRL. If this argument does not prevail at the PEB, he can go back to the BCMR or PDBR and appeal. Having a VA rating is very helpful for this (you mentioned he was being treated, but if he hasn't, he should apply for VA compensation).

Thanks Jason...

I don't see a problem with the knee.

PTSD might be a problem.

About what time we will we usually see him being called back??? Is every base different?
