Congrats on finally getting it all done. I am surprised they gave you such as close out date. I already on terminal and at my new job and my out date isn't until April 27.
I was on leavsince February 25th but my message didn't come in until this week due to a mistake at Navy Yard. I requested the 31st from Pers directly because I'm having a baby in 2 weeks!
Pers told me that they only retire people on the 27th of each month regardless of what is requested. If you request the 28-30/31st, it will be pushed to the following month
i concur. I selected june 13 as my out date and they pushed it back to 27JUN. I was told this is done to make sure your payments are received by the first of the following month.
