@Navy10 Your paperwork if it has already left the VA, would then go to the IPEB which figures out if you are fit or unfit for duty. If unfit, then they use your VA ratings to determine what DOD rating to give you. Once determined, they forward to the PEBLO and the PEBLO contacts you and sends you paperwork to sign. If you do not agree with the % that you get, you can appeal (I would talk with an IDES attorney before accepting or appealing). If you appeal, it goes to a Formal Board in Washington D.C. which could be about 6-8 weeks out. You would not be notified for a few weeks of when it will be and the attorney might not contact you until 2 weeks before your appeal date. What I am trying to tell you, is don't hang out by the phone unless they told you to. They will contact you when they get the information. But if it feels better for you to do it, call them every two weeks.

November 2015 Notified by PEBLO of findings after Thanksgiving TDRL 30/90
December 2015 Appealed for Formal Board
January 2016 1st week notified of formal board date
January notified last week contacted by Attorney
February 2016 Did not have to do Formal Board as my Attorney submitted a package that was approved in my favor giving 80% DOD and PDRL
March 2016 PSD contacted me on how I wanted to use my leave.
April 21st 2016 Official retirement date
