Still waiting

I have been waiting on the peb since March and my peblo keeps telling me it will be here soon they are just backed up, but my unit is now trying to stop my meb and kick me out. is anyone else experiencing the same problem with this situation.
I started November 2016 and got my VA rating of 100% in March. And had an expected date to be out June 1st.
I'm just trying to find out how long it would take.

Did something occur which is causing your unit to try to kick you out?
 
I would start a document trail on that one. Document, document everything.

I would write MFRs and have someone else generate some paperwork as well and upchannel it. That is not right at all. I got a lot of flack and gave my shirt a stack of papers and my supervision got obliterated by our commander. My MEB to PEB took about 10 weeks. My PEB took about 6-8 weeks as well.
 
How did you get 100% from VA and your MEB not be complete? Secondly, once your MEB starts they have to keep you on orders until its finished.

I am confused by this as well.
 
I'm in the Missouri Army National Guard with over 18 years and I'm waiting to get paid for 1 day for attending my Separation Assessment VA C&P Exam. I started the MEB Process on May 8, 2017 and am currently in the PEB Phase thru Camp Atterbury Indiana. My PEBLO said it will be 4-5 Months before she hears anything from the PEB. I can't do my military job and can't work my civilian job due to having knee surgery and had to quit on October 2016. The only money I get is from the current 80% rating from the VA. I guess I didn't qualify for Incap Pay? So far, my process has gone bye quickly! I hope yours does too!!

Hmm, have you considered applying for SSA SSDI federal disability compensation at this particular point in time?

Yes, I already have a SSA claim filed. Make too much from VA for SSDI.

Hmm, I haven't heard that one before! :confused: Did you mean SSD versus SSDI probably? Those are two separate SSA federal disability programs.

SSDI is based on income, if you get a certain amount, then you don't qualify for it. You have to wait on your regular SSD. That's what SSA told me here in Missouri.

Oops, my mistake, I should have said SSI not SSD. Most people consider SSD and SSDI the same benefit.

The SSDI and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) disability programs are the largest of several Federal programs that provide assistance to people with disabilities. While these two programs are different in many ways, both are administered by the SSA and only individuals who have a disability and meet medical criteria may qualify for benefits under either program.

As such, SSI pays benefits based on "financial" need while SSDI pays benefits to you and certain members of your family if you are "insured," meaning that you worked long enough and paid Social Security taxes. Take care!

Apply for SSDI its not based on income or assets. If you are not able to work then go ahead and apply.
 
I was told that since I got 80% VA Disability pay of $1,525.00 a month that I made too much to qualify for SSI, but I do have a regular social security disability claim pending and have a Disability Lawyer.
