My rating were sent to AFPC on 19 Sept and I'm still waiting. Have they been taking a while to give the results back to you lately? My PEBLO said he e-mailed my case manager last week and they said they were still finishing my case. I'm getting so anxious!!!! I keep praying I get a phone call to come in and sign my results. Hoping I get the call this week before the 2nd week of our ORI starts next week and everyone is out of office.

After the VA sent my ratings back to the PEB, it only took 5 days for the PEB to have my 356 (199) back to my PEBLO with board findings. That portion was probably so fast because of my conditions/ratings...I was told that the PEB was accelerating my results. From what I hear, the average has been 1-1.5 months though....so you should hear something real soon.:)

Goodness. Well I hope it's not that long for mine!!!! My PEBLO told me today he e-mailed my case manager again wanted to know the status. Hopefully we have an answer tomorrow. (It's Monday in Okinawa already)

I miss Misawa - was stationed there for 3 years from 2006-2009 - worked for 35 Comm! lovely area in my opinion (if you can handle snow and winter)

Firedawg - your DD214 is on vMPF - you need to go and select your history or something like that then retirements - then DD214 worksheet - this you will fill in with info and submit - then it'll come back to you for confirmation - again on vMPF you'll double check and submit. You will NOT receive your DD214 until you are out of the military - obviously I don't have a time frame to reference as I'm still Active duty till 28 Oct 12 - but that's the way it was explained to me from Ret/Separations office. Apparently we're the only branch of service that doesn't give you your 199/214 the day you retire! - way to go Air Force!

I got word from my PEBLO today that now AFPC doesn't have all the required paperwork from the VA. I was told that my case manager requested the paperwork and that as soon as he receives it, he will finish it out. I just pray it sooner than later. My symptoms are getting worse now that I'm off some of my meds and I need to have another surgery. I can't do the surgery at this point in the process because they would want to redo the paperwork for my MEB. Anyways...
