I started my PDBR process
Aug 2004 Med board rated 10% for DJD
April 4 2004 Profile for Chronic neck & Upper Extremity Pain (code C, G) signed by CPT and LTC same day issued.
July 15 2004 Profile for DJD C-5 C-6, submitted to the MEB, not signed by LTC until board convened. (not sure if this matters but I only saw the prior profile and not the second one and didn't realize there was two until I started looking into all my documents.
NARSUM states 70% neck and 30% Upper radiating pain,
Aug 2003 Medical record used states ROM:
Flexion 18 - (Pain and stiffness at end of ROM)
Lat Flexion R 16
Extension 15 (Pain and stiffness through ROM)
Rotation R 32
Lat Flexion L 19
Rotation R 32 (Pain and stiffness through ROM both)
Also listed SB to R&L (Pain at end ROM) Not sure what SB is??
Nov 2004, VA Voc Rehab decision Letter stating that the ROMs listed (same as above) rate 20% according to the VASRD.
Submitted everything to NVLSP. Found good info that I think will assist my case and working with another veteran in the same situation so he can start his process .
I have read a lot in the Reading Library so I will continue to work on identifying why my disabilities caused significant interference with satisfactory duty performance at separation.
