Severance pay EAS

Congratulations USMCE5! That would really depend on your outbound section and Disbursing. Outbound submits the 11060 via DTMS to Disbursing after you are dropped in MCTFS (3270). Keep in mind that Disbursing CAN NOT pay your final 11060 until you are dropped. So your EAS is April 29th that means even if they have a diary on that Friday, it wont cycle until Sunday night meaning you wont be dropped until Monday. Then they can submit the 11060 to Disbo to get it paid out. Disbursing has 10 working days to work quads but they usually do it pretty quickly. So best case the first week of May. You should get in touch with the guys working your Separation paperwork in outbound.

Wow that's fast! Congrats! I am still waiting to hear back. The PEB had it since Feb 12th, sent it to the VA and they have had it since April 12th.
My EAS was April 8th..like no shit EAS...not terminal or anything, I still haven't received my severance pay. My final pay went through pretty quick...like a week.
Thanks for the replies...I wish more people would share their severance pay and final pay timelines like they do the PEB timeline.
Also...I talked to my PSD (I'm Navy) and they said that I should receive my severance and final pay in one check which will be deposited on my final day of active duty service (30Apr). Sounds like crap, but I'll let ya'll know how that goes.
Well your severance pay and any final pay etc is included in your final payment from DoD/DoN. However I don't see that hitting on your exact EAS. However the Navy could process things a little differently. I don't have access to their systems so I can't see any of that info :/

I eas' d April 8th...On April 11th ish I got my final paycheck..it was like $850...for the 8 days of April. That was my final paycheck. Now MYPAY says that my leave that I sold back and my severance pay is supposed to be April 29th...I'll let you guys know.
Let me know if you would like me to look up any info on your final pay for you. I can at least tell you where it is or whats going on with it.

Update...... My official last day in the Navy is today. I received my last paycheck and severance pay via direct deposit today as well. Good luck everyone!
Update: My LES said that I should receive my severance on April 29th and I did. Last day was April 8...got final paycheck a few days later and severance pay 21 days after that.

Man, I know this sounds horrible but I honestly don't know...I'll check my LES and compare it to my account.I sold back 20 days of leave and that was included too so it threw me off. I'll look in to it and let you guys know.
Damn...I looked, I honestly don't know..I mean they withheld federal tax and all that but it was only $358.00 with severance and leave I received about 14k.
