Hopefully someone here can assist me I’ve been scouring the interwebs with ZERO concrete information. I finalled out last week and my separation date is 31 May 26. I got 20% DOD and 100% VA so I will be getting separation pay for 16 years at my rank.
My first question is what is the timeline to receive my disability severance pay as my finance has said 5-10 days after u final out or around my separation date which seems quick.
My second question is I know that they have to recoup the severance pay however I’ve read multiple things on how it is but nothing in writing. Everything from it will be full amount until paid off or 3-4 years at minimum or will it be 20% for the referring condition? I believe im at just under getting 100% without the referring condition.
