Message traffic came in with my separation date but what about actual orders? My HR, no disrespect, are clueless. Do you get orders later somewhere? Please help.

Same with my HR. Now you get a separation package from them, submit your terminal on nsips, submit your PTDY (if you medical retired) on a special request chit ( print off the milpers man and put it in the package with your message traffic). Complete the package and once your leaves are approved you return it to HR for them to submit it to PERS for your final orders.

They can submit the rest of the package prior to leave and PTDY being approved.Same with my HR. Mainly have your message, 1900/1, 2648, 2656, and VNET to get everything started.
For us it’s always the last thing because most of us have the package ready besides that because you have to wait for the message.
It’s been averaging about 3+ weeks for our people.Anyone got a timeline of how long it takes for PERS to spit out orders once you submitted your package?
