Sending "C" file to PDBR

I received a letter outlining the PDBR process back in Feb 2017. I selected "review all conditions" and sent the packet to the board.
I have been emailing them every four months and receiving the standard "your case is still in records collections." multiple times in 2017, and 2018. I had requested a copy of my "C" file from the VA and in receiving it, decided to forward the CD to the board in November 2018. I asked the board which records they were missing.

I received the CD back from the board and a note saying Thank you, your case has been uploaded to our system. I received word yesterday, 19 Mar, that my case was completed, and proceeding to the DDA. (designated decision authority) in my case, it is the Department of the Army. The board also said they couldn't discuss my case. (this is typical, as they can only recommend action to the respective service secretaries.)

I felt sending the "C" file sped up the process. The board provided a physical address to send it. It was in an Adobe Acrobat format.

One email from the board even indicated that I could email them documents that I felt were relevant to the case, and they would be included.

Timeline so far:

Initial notice received Feb 2017
Case number assigned Dec 2017
Numerous case is in records collections (Aug 2018)
Sent "C" file to board Nov 2018
Transferred to adjudication Jan 2019
Transferred to DDA Mar 2019

Please, veterans hang in there!

I know we have been waiting for a long time and still feel the wait is worth the end result.
