Secretary of the army

Do anyone know how long it's taking for the secretary of the army to sign your 199.... My 199 got sent up to Washington on September 15

Good question. The PDA has had my 199 since 07 SEP, and my PEBLO and OMBUDSMAN are checking the status and to see if they can speed it up (I'm supposed to be starting a position on Post with a contractor this month, hmmmm lol ). I called the PDA directly last week, and after receiving the obligatory lecture about how I need to go through my PEBLO, the person could only confirm that they've had my 199 since 07 SEP, are backlogged, and will process as soon as possible. He did state that if you have a written job offer, the PEBLO can submit it with a memo and they will try to expedite, not sure if that helps you or not.

My 199 was signed on 1 sep and PDA accepted it on 11 Sep. It was assigned to an analyst on 28 Sep and I was already called into my CO's office to sign DA 31 for transition Leave. My leave starts on 28 OCT and ends 21 DEC. The HRC gave my COC a NLT date of 27 dec to have me completely out, which includes PTDY and Leave.
