That's good... One less tourist I have to see.

I'm Alaskan hahahahahha filled tut the paper, I get a pfd. I know the tourist are annoying though.

I'm sorry, didn't you say you're from Ohio or something? Being stationed there for a couple years and pocketing a PFD doesn't exactly make you an Alaskan.

You're temporarily there. You are a tourist.

Lol anything past 30 days makes you a resident of the state. Doesn't matter anyways pfd was low last year. I understand though, I'll accept the tourist compliment.

Yes Ohio!!!! Never thought I would miss it until now.

Sometimes all a person can do is just walk away from a conversation.

I received my unfit letter on 12 DEC 12 and just today 8 APR 13 received my ratings from the VA. Fort Knox, Seattle VA and Arlington PEB. I will compile a complete timeline later. I was able to get PDRL 100% DoD and VA so I am happy with the results.

Welcome back to the PEB Forum! :)

Congratulations on your recent receipt of IPEB findings.

Thus, possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer.

Best Wishes!

Well, the long wait for IPEB findings is finally over! :( --> :) --> :D

I am in possession of my DA Form 199 and its supporting DoVA documentation. With a quick glance, I will probably need to appeal the findings and recommendations of the IPEB.

Basically, my case was adjudicated as part of the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) under the 19 December 2011 Policy and Procedure Directive-type Memorandum (DTM) 11-015 with the following results:
  • PEB referred combined evaluation: 60% DoD rating with placement on TDRL
  • DoVA proposed service connected combined evaluation: 100% VA rating
Moreover, the total IPED proceedings yielded a 29 page document which I shall read thoroughly. To that extent, I have already consulted with the SMEBC and awaiting his evaluation with recommendations.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Well congrats on the movement.... Too bad you gotta send it back to them though. What are you arguing, the TDRL?
I can't believe he got his 199 before me...

Yes, believe it! ;)

As I previously stated, I would receive DA Form 199 before you...ha ha ha! :D

Best Wishes!

Ive been stationed at Wainwright, Schofield is much smaller. Transportation is swamped due to the huge amount of troops who are being shown the door right now. Now maybe this is isolated, I hope it is for the sake of others. But I dont think it is. The cuts are coming across the board. Not just in Hawaii.

Just in my husband's company I think 6 (including my husband) has been or is being med boarded!

Worst place I have ever lived. Never come back even if I get a free vacation.

LOL... I'd love to go to Alaska!! Not to live though!! I was excited when I found out we were going to move to Northern NY (Drum), cause I figured we're 30 minutes from Canada, I'll get to see a Moose!! Yaaa.... I was disappointed LOL.

Miltary are using MEB to cut numbers down, getting the guys who been chilling on perm profiles and referring them to MEB

Well, I promise you'd get to see more moose in Alaska then youll probably ever wanna see. Probably in your own front yard!

Here I sit though. 2:45 am at the transportation office. I got here a half hour ago and imagine my surprise to find there's THREE PEOPLE already waiting. I'm gonna be pissed if I did this for nothing.

That is crazy...I really hope my transportation office is not that backed up.

my ebenefits says, prep. for decision.....then pending approval....then back again...wtf over?

Still waiting.... Going on almost 2 weeks since found out ratings...still no 199, I have terrible luck. Seen lot of people get it within 2-3 days....

Mine did that right before they finished ratings. Went from gathering of evidence (where it was for months) to prep for decision... then a few hours later it went to pending decision approval...then back to prep for decision. Then I think it went to pending approval one more time (i can't remember, maybe not), and then back to "Gathering of evidence". only it said "requested separation documents"

Ok I got my 199 and signed. But I'm reading on this pre transpoc checklist " transitional leave formally known as terminal leave is not authorized per AR 600-8-10 paragraph 4-21G..." They are saying I must sell back leave days and only take PTDY.. Does this sound right?

I see moose out front of my house almost everyday. Seen all the wild life. Ready to leave, we have a blizzard advisory right now until Thursday. I hasn't stopped snowing since Sunday. It's April!!!!!!
