Here is the latest on my claim:

USAR TPU Drilling Reserve Soldier:

24 May 2013 Referred to MEB
19 Jun 2013 VA Claims Completed with VA MSC
23 Jul 2013 Medical Exams
21 Aug 2013 MEB find unfit
28 Aug 2013 IPEB find unfit
25 Mar 2014 VA Ratings Complete 90%

Still awaiting PEB decision and 199.

In reviewing other posts it is obvious my timeline is off. Most Soldiers have averaged 10 days from rating to PEB decision and 199.

Does anyone have any insight as why this is taking so much longer?

Thank you,
Call this number and check..... 703-325-2582

I was checking to see what peoples opinion were on the average time for the VA Seattle RO to complete are ratings. I know that there is some factors and each case is different. Is it true that there is a 20 hour mandatory overtime for each employee at the VA Seattle office?

Thanks
I would say the average is between 120-140 If you are reserves/Nasty guard it may take longer. Don't know why but it just does.

Peblo called going to sign 199 at 1100.

Signed 199 50% army 80% Va PDR

All right! Congratulations on your official acceptance of IPEB findings inclusive of DoD PDRL and DoVA proposed ratings! :D

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Maybe this will be the week Seattle gets it stuff together, and shoot out those ratings!

Saw a strange thing when I checked my status on eBenefits just now. It had been stuck at review of evidence and the updated evidence tab said "the requested evidence is past due." That blurb is now gone and when I hover over the gathering evidence part it says "We have received all of the required evidence." Does this mean anything? Could my packet finally be in somebody's hands? Just wondering if anybody else has seen this and knows what it means. Currently at 117 days waiting for VA Ratings. Thanks.

Spouse received retirement orders on Friday 11 April that were dated 31 March. His last out date is 5 May. Hooray!

A couple of questions on the paperwork he received. There is a line

Disability Retirement: X Years X months X Days
Basic Pay: X Years X Months X Days

The Basic Pay line is how much time he has been in the Army. The disability retirement line is not, how long he was active duty, Basic Pay multiplied by disability rating, or how long he has been in the reserves.

The numbers are close but not exact for how long he has been in the Medical board process as a whole. Does this mean anything specific that we should be aware of?

Thanks!

So my dumb ass peblo just called. She asked if I was gonna sign my 199 and send it back. I told her I already did. She said oops my bad I forgot to send it up. Now that adds 10 days onto my wait for order. You would think after being in meb process for 370 days she would have sent it in. I am gonna report her ass

Just calm down you are at the end of the journey just one last kick to your shin before you go. It will be fine because as guard reserve you will still be out by the end of may.

Got my retirement Orders for 6 May 2014. One last drill 3-4 May then I take my ball and go home for good. Will get the wife's I.D. card tomorrow than I will secure mine drill weekend.

In reference to the receipt of official military disability retirement orders, congratulations! :D

Hopefully, soon, other PEB Form members shall be able to provide sound insightful information to your inquiry?

Indeed, "ICE" her up upon the completion of the DoD IDES process or at a minimum upon receipt of your military disability retirement/separation orders in my opinion! ;)

To that extent, never default acceptance to preventable injustice! Hmm, I have a lot of "writing" to do upon the completion of my family's relocation to our chosen military disability retirement locale.

That said, I shall not accept the poor, lackadaisical and unprofessionalism behavior of employees associated with the DoD IDES process!

Oh yes, it's now my time to wipe the silly :D off the faces of those specific lazy employees in DoD IDES process for sure while trying to put a :) back on my face afterwards!

How long do PEB findings normally take. I'm at day 11. I was under the impression that this particular phase is fast.

Thank you,
How do you know what VA rating is if your PEb isn't complete?
