Pam Medera works for DAV. She rotates between post during the week. Here schedule is up near the ACAP office door before you go in. You might have already tried this number but she stays busy but she is 'on it'. She definitely gives you the feeling she is on your side. Her number is 808-433-0491. Not sure when she comes on Schofield but when she does it is at the SFAC building next to the Med Center. I talked to her once when the process started but not recently. Hope that helps you.
 
Florida Bound, yeah thats the number I have. I call and it just rings... Cnat seem to get anyone on the phone. Maybe I'll try stopping by the ACAP center and see if I cant see her schedule. Thanks though!

The one who should have access to everything is your MSC at E Wing at TAMC. They have direct access to what is going on.

All us Schofield IDES on this thread should have lunch or dinner one day and try to help each other out.
 
My MSC is worthless... Won't help me out at all as far as info. Just says be patient and wait for a phone call to sign my 199. I did have some success today in getting hold of the DAV and I got my POA to them. I'm not sure what they'll be able to do for me, but hopefully they can tell me the status of my ratings and what's actually happening with it.

If it helps one day my VA Award Letter Showed up. My PEBLO nor my MSC knew. Also as SOON as you get your award letter, call your PEBLO. Mostly likely your 199 is automatically computer generated the same day. Expect to be low balled. PEB runs it like a business and with budget cuts, it is harder. I disagreed with my 199 and I am going to go to a Formal PEB sometime in march or early april. My advice is to keep close relationships and keep making and going to appointments on the medical side so you have medical records and documentation.
 
Just got back an email from my PEBLO stating what you said earlier BAMF. VA is backed up but the cases have been coming back sporadically with some well before others. I'm guessing it is a roll of the dice which makes it even worse.
 
I'm suppose to call back tomorrow. I will update what they say.

Claim folder returned from Alaska with examination on 12/27/12 and it is with the DES folks who have it on search to work effective 2/26/13 so I anticipate a decision within 45 to 60 days or earlier. This claim was effective in November so it is moving quickly as it is. Hope this helps.

That's the email she sent back to me.
 
I called her and she said they are working on ratings. So hopefully soon, at least in not lost somewhere.
 
Well thats positive news to hear your packet isnt lost or sitting under a huge pile of packets that are ahead of yours.
 
I seen in peb tracker thread someone else got their ratings back. Their unfit was jan 14.....
 
What is this PEB tracker you speak of? Do you have a link?
 
Just checked it out.... Nearly every JBLM case on there it took around a month to get ratings back. What the hell happened?
 
Idk man. That's what I'm saying. It seems to be off. But the timelines are mainly before January. Everything is backd up now.
