Has anyone been rated for schizophrenia? Want to see if any others are going through a med board with the same diagnosis. What can I expect?
 
Many here have 100% MH rating for that cant provide any specifics.
 
Schizophrenia, like other MH conditions is rated based on occupational and social functioning. The lower your ability to function at work and socially, the higher the rating. MH conditions are rates 0, 30, 50, 70, or 100%.

You can expect to see a VA contractor with professional credentials in MH. He/she will evaluate you to determine if you have a MH disorder, identify the disorder, and evaluate your occupational and social functioning. The VA will use the information gathered during the evaluation will be used to determine your rating. The C&P exam is not treatment.
