If someone is retired Chapter 61 and their DOD disability % for condition changes for VA?

Would Retired pay change or CRSC pay go higher/lower?

Example Med retired 40% for condition A. Condition A is later boosted to 100% would it affect anything?

Your conditions for DOD% are fixed if PDRL. If your VA rating later changes it won't affect your pay up or down.

If you aren't maxed out at 100% for VA then if the rate went up it would increase your total compensation as long as your VA compensation that is offsetting your chapter 61 pension is higher.

If a condition that was approved for CRSC went up or down it COULD change your CRSC pay. CRSC is a different and separate check from DFAS to help you recoup money lost due to the VA offset of your chapter 61 pension. You can't get more than the combination of your earned longevity pension and VA compensation and this calculation. So if you hit that cap due to that calculation than nothing including an increase of a VA condition that is approved for CRSC will help you gain more compensation. On the flip side if the CRSC condition went down your CRSC pay could definitely go down if the total CRSC compensation in conjunction with the VA pay tables is less.
