Retirement Move: Entitlements

I'm wondering if TLE (temporary lodging expenses) are authorized during my final move after a medical Retirement. I am looking to stay in a hotel during my out-processing. Do we get the typical 10 days in a hotel during a normal PCS?

Hello @BrokenHeloDriver ,

It appears TLE is not authorized in the circumstances you mentioned. However, recommend checking with your local finance representatives and the housing office.

This regulation discusses TLE entitlements: Defense Finance and Accounting Service > MilitaryMembers > travelpay > armypcs > tle (dfas.mil) <---LINK

Temporary Lodging Expense (TLE)

TLE is an allowance intended to partially pay members for lodging/meal expenses incurred by a member/dependent(s) while occupying temporary lodging in the Continental United States (CONUS) in association with a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move.
