i just got my Blue ID card. I'm 70% DOD and 70% VA. TDRL. The card expires in 2020. The person that issued it to me said that unless the DOD bumps me to 100% I will lose tricare and ID card. Is this true? I thought if you were moved to PDRL you keep tricare?
Mine expires too. I'm TDRL as well. They all expire if on TDRL. When permanently retired it will say indiffinate. So you were misinformed. Your magic number is 30% or higher.

This is also misinformation. The retired ID card (if you are PDRL) will expire on the last day of the month before your 65th birthday, that way you have to enroll in Tricare for Life.
The older ID cards say INDEF but the newer retiree cards will have an expiration. We were told not to confinscate IDs from retirees because they rolled back the INDEFs in DBIDS for entering military installations (AF side).
