Is it me or has the members of PDBR stop responding to messages? I emailed them about a week ago and have yet to receive a response back.

I have been waiting 3 weeks, So I got in touch (Someone answered the phone after many attempts) with the Air Force Boards Agency and they were unaware of this long wait time for an email response. I was told that they were going to look into the issue and return my call.
Have you heard back yet?
I'm having the same experience. I used to get an email response within a day or two. I sent a request for a status update on 13 February and have not had a response yet. Makes me wonder if they had some personnel transitions and can no longer keep up with responding. I submitted my packet in about May 2015 and always get the same status update, "records received, pending adjudication." 
PDBR is the Physical Disablity Board of Review. It is for service members who were discharged after 9/11/01 to 12/31/09 for disability reasons. Meaning you went through an MEB or PEB and were separated for a condition. The board re-examines these discharges for accuracy on disability ratings in an effort to ensure the conditions were rated fairly. Some of us are being granted medical retirements from this board because the ratings we received at discharge were incorrect.

Is there a process in place to essentially appeal/overturn a separated once you are out?
For example, if I take the separation with severance and then get the VA to re-eval a condition that wasn't considered "unfitting" at the time...and they reconsider and rate 30% for it, can I get that added to the unfitting conditions after? Within the first year of separation?

That I do not know.
You should post this in the PEB/MEB section as I am sure someone in there knows the answer. My area of "expertise" is the PDBR. My med board was so long ago that I hardly remember the process.
I have seen someone else post a question very similar to this a few days ago so I know an answer is out there.

Hey, I just wanted to add to what keebs said. The time period affecting us is spedific, due to a finding that services intentionally suppressed the rating to avoid retirement costs. I imagine they now use the same level of scrutiny at release as the pdbr does on reviews. Not that mistakes cannot happen, but appeals would be tough. The VA rating will likely be more inclusive than the unfitting rating. Check out this link for more information
Well, I never thought I would miss their email responses that just said leave us alone and it'll always take several more months to adjudicate, but the lack of a response is pretty frustrating. I really shouldn't stress over it, since the odds are 3:1 against me, but it's become a morbid curiosity. I'd just like to know something either way.
The pdbr responded to my email, so its taking a little over a month for a status check now. I originally submitted on 1 June 2015. They say it is in final pdbr processing for an administrative review and final signature. I just wanted to provide others with a perspective on time frames.
