I completed my last VA C&P exam on July 16 as part of the IDES/MEB process.
I’m wondering what the next steps are from here. About how long does it usually take after the final VA exam to receive your proposed VA disability rating? Once the rating is finished, what happens next in the process?
Also, based on your experience, how long did it take from your last VA appointment until you received your separation orders and your final out date? I’m trying to get an idea of when I might expect to separate.

- Pre-IDES: April 27
- Notified of full MEB: June
- First VA exam: July 1
- Last VA exam: July 16
