due to the DON Disability Manual 1850.1 states:
and1) An illness or injury occurs within the Presumptive Period that would prevent the Service Member from performing further duty if they were not retiring.
Both of these apply to my situation. Am I going to be considered pfit or should I bet on needing to request an IPEB to be found unfit?(2) A serious deterioration of a previously diagnosed condition, including a chronic one, occurs within the Presumptive Period, and the deterioration would preclude further duty if the Service Member were not retiring.
