Question about "Not related to mil service"

I recieved a letter in the mail from the VA with the preliminary findings. Unfitting disabilities 0%, service connected disabilities 70% and a list of conditions under "not related to your military service". Of the diagnosis' listed I have documentation in my medical record for 6 of 8 that have been turned into the VA for the ratings. I know that there is a rating appeal process but I need to know what paperwork I should send in? I have the notes available, should I write a justification letter outlineing each? any help would be much appreciated.

8 Years 4 months of Active service. Currently active duty in the IDES system already found unfit for service.
 
Appeal tio a formal board and fight that the conditions rated by the VA at 70% also contribute to your overall unfitness.

Thanks Mike. Just called the PEBLO and they said to go ahead and gather all evidence now so that when the PEB package comes back from the Navy Yard I can request a formal and start immediately.
