Hello folks, have a question in regards of ptsd claim. I'm currently undergoing thru MEB process, and recently went to mental health c&p exam.
Have a non-combat PTSD claim related to persona trauma during deployment, so question is, if VA haven't ask me at any point of time for my personal statement about stressor, should i write it myself and send it to MSC, or if they didnt ask me anything, that mean they have enough evidence in my records, my own words basically (already been diagnosed in-service), also how bad is the fact that C&P doc put wrong deployment year on DBQ, 2019 (instead of 2018), DBQ results are favorable. Any advices are welcome.

I doubt having the wrong year on the C&P for deployment will hurt you since its only used for VA %. If it bugs you call QTC and ask them to correct that on DBQ and they will probably get it done.

To answer your first question I wouldn't worry about that either if the DBQ is favorable. They are looking at your functionality and not the stressor itself. How impaired you regarding work and social like will determine your rating for PTSD.

If the IPEB doesn't work out you can take your case to the FPBE and inform them the date on the C&P was wrong. Like @Provis, I suspect it will not be a problem.
