My PFT results showed "Airway obstruction confirmed by decrease in flow rate at peak flow and flow at 50% of flow volume curve". The doc put me on an Albuterol inhaler. C&P came back with a 10% rating.

Since the C&P I have been back in with breathing issues and my primary care doc put me on a nebulizer a couple of times a day in addition to the inhaler.

Here's the question... Should I re-file for comp and pen due to the nebulizer (PFT result is the same)?

Have they done your NARSUM yet? You could potentially have it added through an addendum or IMR - you could also check with the VA MSC about sending the updated notes to whoever did the C&P to see if they will amend the report to add it. Best of luck...Bob

Where did the 10% come from? That to me would indicate you have gone through a complete MED board. Are you reserve, and the 10% is from a VA claim?

Roger, in the Guard and submitted a VA claim a few years ago (that is where the 10% came from). Now I am on a nebulizer and have not re-filed because the MEB process has started.

Back on again after a long break. Fully retired... 100%VA and 90%Army. Now the issue is continued care.

My lung capacity is getting worse and my daily nebulizer is my recourse. I'm really worried about the moon dust from FOB Normandy (2 deployments to the same location '04 and '06) and the incinerators on Bagram (I lived/worked at the DFIP for 16 months '10/'11).

Anyone have advise about SGT Sullivan Center... How/where/what to do other than the standard PFT that shows there is an issue?
