Anyone have a recent rough timeline for a PFR (Petition For Relief) response? I am at 22 days. Thx

2-4 weeks is about right. There may be some processing delays because Roger Claussen- the Senior Counsel to Executive Director of the Navy Council of Review Boards ("CORB")- retired a few months ago. They have not yet been able to hire a replacement. As a result, the PFR reviews are being farmed out to Navy OGC attorneys with other primary duties as collateral tasks. Then the Executive Director of the CORB has to sign off on it. So, some delays may be inevitable. However, 2-4 weeks is not unusual; but 6-8 weeks would be considered a long time. If you were represented on the FPEB level by Code 16 counsel, they can inquire for you. If you have civilian counsel, they can do so as well. In 25+ years of representing sailors and Marines before the CORB, I have always found their staffers very approachable. They may not give you the decision you wish, but they are good people and are fairly easy to work with on appeals.

Thank you! That has been the most informed answer I have gotten in the past year. I truly appreciate the response.
