PEB unfit/VA disability claim decision

Hey y’all. My claim was received 28 Oct 2019. My PEBLO told me that since my claim was sent to VA then that means the PEB found my case unfit. VA.gov lists my claims as being closed as of 26 March and that my claim is being mailed to me in 7-10 business days. It also instructed me to go my E Benefits to see my disability ratings.
My question to y’all is why does it say on E Benefits that my total percentage is “N/A” and that my claim is pending approval. I attached a screen shot of it. Any advice or guidance is appreciated!

Are you active military? You wont be "DISABLED" until you leave the military component in some form. I am active, I have had the same look to my e-benefits site and until I can upload my DD-214 it will remain "N/A". To my understanding is that while you are active you can not have a disability because you can not be disabled and serve.

Keep in mind the term "disabled" here has to do with compensation and claims, not the medical term disabled as having something that makes you unhealthy. Everyone knows someone that is temporarily disabled by a broken bone or torn muscle and continues to serve in the military - but not the type of disability that allows you to draw compensation.

Still Active duty. I understand what your saying. That makes sense. Is there a way to see what decision the VA made with regards to any ratings prior to getting DD214 and before my PEBLO contacts me?
 
You won't find out before you Peblo contacts you unless you know someone at the VA who will give you a heads up. You can contact the PEB and they may tell you however, you will find out before you get you DD214.
 
Just to clarify my last post. The PEB will only know the rating when they recieve it back from the VA for QA since the VA is the one that assign the rating.
 
There are two claims in the VA for an unfit service member. The first claim is to help DoD determine your percentages. Once the decision to separate is made, the VA opens a second claim to pay any VA benefits due.
 
Thank you all for your responses. It has been well past the “7-10 business days” I was told to expect notification of my disability percentages as stated by VA.gov

I called them today and a rep over the phone told me that an electronic version had been sent to my PEBLO.I have not heard from him yet. I was told that my total % was at 100%
I have no idea what the dod rating will be. I was referred to PEB for PTSD (combat related) and Migraines. Does the DOD typically mirror what percentage rating the VA gives for referring conditions?

how did you get them to tell you your proposed rating. When I called they told me they could not tell me.
 
It just happened to be the right guy I was speaking to. I attempted to have a real person conversation with him. Something that is uncommon when speaking with the VA it seems. I explained my frustrations in not knowing what was happening and then I just asked if he could tell me what the total % was. Luck of the drawl I guess.

Makes sense. I got in touch with my peblo today and got my ratings. 70% dod, 90% va.
