PEB question

Looking for some clarification and better understanding but is there one central PEB for each branch? Or is there a PEB for every base?

Looking at people’s timelines from the same branch, I see they vary between the accepting of the case to findings. Is the variance due to have different PEBs?

Each service has a central PEB. For example, the AF PEB happens at AF Personnel Center (AFPC) on Randolph AFB, TX. The MEB authority is also located there.

MEB makes a medical decision.

PEB board makes a whole person decision.
