I received my VA ratings April 19th. Still awaiting for my PEB findings to come back. 20+ days. My Peblo told me I should of got them back by now, but doesn't seem like there's anything to do but wait.
It's not strange. The PEB findings are when you find out what, exactly, they found you unfit for and what your DoD rating is for those unfitting conditions. In the Army the form is a DA Form 199. Not sure what the forms are for the other branches. Also, there is a lot more information in the findings, I'm just throwing out the biggest part of the PEB findings.
My VA ratings were completed on February 15th and I'm still waiting for the PEB findings.

Did you receive your 199 yet? I've been waiting since May 8 to receive mine. Vets.gov says mine was complete on that date. Im getting anxious to know and get this step over with. If you got yours how long did it take>

I received my 199 last Thursday, finally. Signed it yesterday. Now I'm playing the waiting game for orders. But at least I finally moved forward another step.
Once your VA ratings are complete they are sent back to the PEB so that they can their thing. Once they have decided what you're unfit for and assigned a rating/s for the unfitting condition/s, then they generate the DA Form 199. So you are on track and not late at all. If you haven't received a copy of your proposed ratings, give your MSC a call and ask him/her to print you out a copy.
Sometimes your PEB ratings come first, but sometimes the VA ratings come first. When they do, they are delivered back to PEB so they can determine which conditions you are fit and unfit for. They will determine which conditions will qualify you for disability benefits. Hope this helps.

That's not entirely correct. Once the PEB finds you unfit for one or more conditions, they send your packet to the VA for ratings. The PEB does not rate anything. The PEB only determines fitness. It's the VA that determines the ratings for those conditions that you are found unfit. The PEB uses the ratings that the VA assigns. The VA also rates you on all of your other conditions at that time. They call these "Proposed ratings". If you're active duty, the VA will not prepare any ratings for you until they receive word from the PEB.

I've been calling my MSC leaving voicemails and everything and she will not call back! smh I gave my peblo a call as well and apparently the msc wouldn't have my propsed ratings. Which I don't believe anything my peblo says bc shes with held information from me before.
That kind of happened in my case. Signed MEB findings Feb 01, then asking my PEBLO in June if he has seen anything he said no. I then asked my VA MSC and Brian said he'd check the DoD system. Sure enough the PEB was done as they had already gotten the VA ratings back in March. Brian sent me a copy of the proposed ratings so I had time to look through and start my appeals. July 18 is when the official DA 199 packet was sent to me.
And other info I found out. Now that my C&P exams are older than 6 months (C&P done Oct 2016) they will have to either supply a memo to me to sign saying that everything is the same/or worse since the exams.
