PEB concerns?

First post to the forums.
So hello to all!
I'm a little confused about this whole process.. it's very stressful but wanting some advice.
CO signed his paperwork and saw me as "unfit" and the PEB accepted my case on 30 Sept.
If CO found me as unfit, does that normally mean the PEB will as well? And also, how long until I hear for sure from the PEB? Havwn't heard from Peblo since case was accepted by PEB.
I've seen posts saying people have called the PEB to find out more info.. should I consider that, and what is a number for me to reach them?
Sorry for all the questions. Thank you!

The process is not quick, as it has many checks and balances built into it. The official guidance (at least from the Air Force) is that only 5% of cases that make it to the PEB stage will be found fit.

Welcome to the forum Mustang!

It sounds like you are out of the IRILO and into the IDES process based on the information you have given. The CO's recommendation will weigh into the boards decision but is not the end all be all.

Now as I read your post again, it sounds like you might be in the step before IDES, because once you enter into the IDES, you have to meet with the VA rep and schedule your C&P exams.

Have you talked to your VA MSC (military services coordinator)?

If you haven't, you are probably waiting on your branches medical standards division to review you case prior to being accepted into the IDES process.

Thank y'all. I have been to the VA C&P exams already, did those in August. And also signed for IDES in August as well. I haven't talked to the VA MSC wasn't aware that I have one. I do have PEBLO, a case manager, LIMDU coordinator. I was just hoping I would get my ratings or find out if I am "fit" or "unfit" hopefully by Christmas.
